She stood up and kept the gifts on the side table'.
She came with another rakhi and a pooja plate which was kept near the table'.
Anjali-bhabhi,apna haath dijiye'(give me ur hand)'
Khushi forwarded her hand'..
Anjali tied a rakhi on khushi's hand and applied kum kum and rice seeds on her forehead'
Anjali gave a sweet in khushi's mouth and khushi too fed a small piece of sweet to anjali'.
Anjali turned to see a confused look on R&R's faces..
Anjali-rakhi is not tied to receive gifts'
R&R were listening to their favorite anjali bua very accurately'.

Anjali-rakhi bandhne ki prathe bahut purani hai,pata hai bharat mei,jab pehle ke zamane mei,raja maha-raja yudh yani ki ladai krne jate the,toh unki raniya unhe rakhi bandh ne baad hei jane deti thi'taki wo surakshit wapis aaye'.(this is a very old tradition,in india,long back,when kings used to go to fight for the country,queens used to tie rakhi on the kings hands,with a gesture of making the king safe'.)
Rubie-to kya rakhi koi bhi bandh sakta hai,kissi ko bhi??(so can anyone tie rakhi to anyone?)
Anjali-ha'.bilkul'rakhi iss liye bandhi jaati hai,taaki tum apne chahne waalo ki hamesha ke liye saari buri nazro aur khatro se bacha sako,unhe swasth aur surakhit rakh sako'.samne wale ki raksha ke liya,unki haatho pe rakhi ka pyar bandha jata hai'.(absolutely,rakhi is tied so that the ones u love always remain safe and healthy'.to keep ur loved ones out of danger'that's why rakhi is tied')
Rahul took a breadth of relief'.
Rahul-oh,so its tied for safety of the ones u love'.not to get gifts'.
Everyone except R&R were

Anjali lokked at R&R and pointed at Devayani dadi'
anjali-your badi dadi'..
R&R looked at dadi'..and ran to her'.
R&R-dadi,ur so cool'..
Dadi-wo toh hum hai he,afterall hum R&R ki dadi jo hai'.(obviously,afterall am ur both's badi-dadi')
R&R hugged dadi and she hugged them back'.
All exchanged a smile'.
Anjali-bhabhi,hum ye rakh kar aate hai'(I will keep this in my room and come)
N.K.-bhai-bhabhi,I have to make a call,I will just come back'.
Khushi just smiled nodded and both anjali and N.K. left'..
Arnav too noded'''.
Khushi-Rahul,rubie,chaliye,ab aap dono ki baari hai'.(come on R&R,its ur turn now to tie the rakhi..)
They both went running to their mother'.
Dadi-khushi bitiya,hum mandir hokar aate hai,aap R&R ka rakshabandhan sambhaal legi na??(I will go to temple and come,will u manage here??)
Khushi-ji dadi ji,aap ho aayite,hum sambhaal lenge,waise bhi yeh hai na(pointing towards arnav)'kyu arnav ji aap hamra saath denge na??(ya you go and come,I will manage and arnav will help me out'(pointing towards arnav))
Arnav's eyes popped out'looking after R&R and that too with khushi,not an easy task for arnav for sure,he almost chocked'.
Arnav-ya sure'
Dadi-thik hai toh hum driver ko leke jaate,uske baad satsang mei hoke aayenge'.(I will go to temple with driver and then go to satsang)
Khushi-(surprisingly)satsand dadiji??
Dadi-ha,wo hamari saheli hai na,Manorama,uske yaha'.(yes, at my friend Manoram's place')
Anjali was just coming down after keeping her gifts in her room when she heard dadi going to satsang'.
Anjali-dadi,hum bhi aa rahe hai,'.(I am also coming')
Dadi-sure,lets go'.
Both move out waving their hands to R&R'.
R&R started running in the house not listening to the calls of their mother who was running behind them to catch them'.
Khushi-rahul,rubie ruko'..yaha aao toh'(wait,come to me)
