A week passed..

Khushi dint get a chance to meet him who had been working so much on the new Bridal Collection Project dedicating all his time in the same. As per informed earlier, Khushi's boss Mr. Dave left for a small holiday he had been waiting to plan with his wife and 3 kids, not before passing Khushi the details on upcoming projects for AR Fashions which were to be managed by him. Khushi too was concentrating on her work, and she had learnt from the atmosphere and attitude of people around, that Mr. Arnav was a Mr. Perfect indeed!

Khushi blamed herself to think that she thought to find faults in him.. She wanted to apologize him, for no reason needed.. She just wanted to talk to him.. But from a week, she was busy not able to catch up with him even though being his girl next door..

After the day Payal arranged bus-passes for Khushi, she dint even wait to see him or his bike in the morning, and rushed to the city-bus stop near her area not to miss her bus and reach the office on time..

Arnav was actually busy attending-The new Bridal Project which was on him, and also the one which he passed to Aman, his so called boss.. He did miss to see one girl from last one week, yet he had no choice as work was something unavoidable..

Although busy, he never missed to see her each day, and his eyes did find his girl from the crowd working down..

Arnav did find a small excuse each day, to see her each day, and never missed to notice what color she was wearing.. Seeing his Khushi in stress, he often asked the office boy to send some coffee for her, and came to know that she liked tea, with a strong taste of 'adrak' (ginger) in it.. He resumed his work and came to see her in-between whenever he got breaks.. He could see she had become good friends with Lavanya..

Aman the great was still trying his own ways to figure out who was the lady behind ruining his friends working pattern.. He did receive a good dose from his insecure girlfriend Lavanya, who thought Aman wants to leave her and move on, giving lifts to other girls. He did make it clear to Lavanya that it was not he who gave lift to Khushi that day, but dint reveal who it actually was either.. Lavanya avoided talking about this topic to anyone, and continued with her works..

AR Fashions..

Over loaded with work, Khushi did need break, and so she near the aquarium on the ground floor to make her mind fresh.. There, she remembered the day of her interview in AR Fashions, when she had seen two honey brown eyes staring her from the above small cabin less chamber.. She looked up, she knew now k it was Arnav's chamber.. Automatically her lips broke into a smile to see those venetian blinds parted and the same eyes staring at her.. One blink of eyes and no one was there.. She stopped grinning and hit her head lightly..

Khushi (self talk)-Uff Khushi, people around say right.. Your totally mad! Anyway.. Its time to go back to work.. Chal Khushi chal, before you go mad..

Arnav was moving down to go out as he got some serious work to do in the city area.. He thought to go by his bike as the traffic can be cut soon by a two-wheeler instead of a four-wheeler.. He told Aman to ask some girls if interested to assist him with This project of Bridal Wear and then took a lift making his way to the parking.. The lift stopped at the ground floor, where as he still had to move to the basement.. He put his helmet ON and took out his bike keys ready to move out of the lift and get going, when the lift stopped making his heart run when as entered the lift, Khushi..

In the Lift..

Khushi entered the office lift, and entered to push the UP button to go to the canteen before she can resume her work.. She was hungry and was licking her lips thinking to eat something good and that's when she realised she was not alone and hence she turned to make herself root at the spot.. Her lips again curved up into a smile knowing Arnavji was here, besides her..

Khushi-Sir!!

Arnav saw her and removed his helmet to make her look at what she had been missing.. Her face got a 100 watt smile and she moved a step forward towards him, whose legs were going jelly to see this lady in white so close to him after so long!!

Excitement to see him was no less marked on her face either.. She dint know why, she felt a positive energy making her pull towards him.. He was something!

Khushi-Good Morning Sir! Where were you these days? So long time we met,haina?! You dint miss me like I did, tell me did you?

Her tongue rolled to speak anything which came out first and she felt stupid when she pouted at her the last line expecting him to reply.. What she just spoke, she was scared to have second thoughts on the same, thinking what if he will know that she was desperately waiting to speak with him.. Wait, what?! Was she??

Anyway..

She smiled at him, and looked away.. He was just dumb-folded to hear this from her.. Was she too waiting for him to talk to?! Jeez, he was no less heaving that her charming smile added to his gulps..

The silence was awkward and both these dumies were unable to figure out that the lift was not moving at all..

Arnav was just staring at her, it was after so long.. Although he did secretly keep staring at her during the office hours from his chamber above, still! Seeing the love of his heart so closely, just a step far from his eyes was so much for him to dedicate his time for.. Khushi looked at him from the corner of her eye and noticed, that his glare was on her back.. She felt nice.. Wait, did she feel nice? Erm.. Dammit.. Was her mind still enjoying some holiday?! She took a step away from him and adjusted her open hair and dupatta, still feeling his constant gaze on her.. She closed her eyes and clutched her dupatta suddenly, as felt him taking a step towards her, and turned to take a step back seeing his eyes locking with hers and making him corner her on the lift wall..

She gasped feeling his breath near her temple and closed her eyes clutching more onto her dupatta looking down.. She dint resist but.. And Arnav, he saw her hair strands moving due to his breathes ,and smirked getting more close to her.. His one hand holding his helmet on his side, and the other making blocking her way to move out of the corner she was stuck in!

He saw her breathing going super fast and he very well knew, for what reasons?

And Khushi,she dint dare to look up, but her mouth opened to ask..

Khushi-Ar- - -Arnavji.. I mean, S - - Sir.. What are you- -

Her stammers found a halt, when she felt him leave her and looked up at him who moved two steps back looking at her and she was still consuming her own sweet time for understanding what just happened when she heard him speak..

Arnav-What happened Khushi? I was pressing the button of the lift behind your back, the lift was not moving, so.. But wait.. What happened to you? I mean.. Are you okay?

He knew exactly what her mind was thinking.. He smirked and looked ahead when he felt the lift jump up and down making a big noise and looked on his side to see Khushi playing with the lift buttons..

Arnav-What the- - What are doing Gupta?

She looked at him innocently and pouted..

Khushi-What happened Sir? Are you in a hurry?

Arnav-Khushi, do you know this could have been dangerous!

Khushi-Oh! So I see, Mr. Perfect has a little defect.. You scared of lift?

Arnav was gulping.. Ya, he was scared, but not for himself but her, who was with him.. If the lift stopped and it went dark, she would start getting hyper and start yelling and jumping.. He said it straight..

Arnav-Khushi, this is not funny okay? If the lift stops then - -

Khushi saw his helmet and her giggles diverted..

Khushi-Sir,is that your helmet?! I have seen it somewhere.. I guess erm..

Her eye-brows frowned..

Arnav-Obviously you have seen it! Have you not?

Khushi-No I mean, before that day when you gave me lift, I saw this same helmet on someone I guess.. Erm..

Arnav-Uff, not again.. Khushi, I thought you would be decent enough atleast, but you too hitting on me! Jeez!

Khushi's eyes popped out..

Khushi-No No No.. I ain't hitting on you Arnavji.. Why would you even think that?! I am not attracted to you.. I dint miss you..

Arnav-wait,what??

Khushi-ya! I dint come to your place that night willingly, it was a co-incident, and not a mistake.. I dint intend to use your kitchen but thinking its my house I used everything.. I was told by my boss k my house is well furnished so erm, when I saw the groceries and fruits there I thought it must be of the old tenants who left it behind.. And you can't deny to the fact that carrots can stay good for long as they are grown under the soil..

Wait, what was she sayin? Was that even an explanation? Wait, why did she start with saying all this on the first place? But she started, she better finish it to justify herself.. Arnav chuckled..

Arnav-ha? What?!

Arnav controlled his laughs well.. He knew she was really sweet to commit the mistakes he wanted her too.. But he could not miss a chance to tease her now, can he?!

Arnav-Oh! Okay.. Just so you have started Miss Khushi, then I guess you must be having an explanation to how you could be insane to think that you could make gajar ka halwa out of milk which was so old by the tenants who left 3 months ago!? Hmmm? Tell me..

Khushi-Erm.. Ya! It was tetra pack Arnavji, it can stay good for at least for 90 days without opening the seal, if stored in a cool place, don't you know?!

Khushi sighs and looked away.. She was smart.. She felt proud to give an immediate, yet intelligent argument.. Arnav was amused!

Khushi- and ha I - -

But before she could say anything, the buttons of the lift she played with, showed their magic and the lift stopped.. It went dark and she jumped on his back who was not ready to take her, but balanced once felt her small weight on himself.. She hugged him tight at his back in this dark.. But that blabber mouth was 'something' to shut her mouth so fast.. She did sound disappointed when she said..

Khushi- Arnavji, how could you! All think k I am mad.. But am not mad okay?! See, that day..

Khushi sounds low and grips on his coat, he is just listening.. :p

Khushi continued..

Khushi-I - - I dint want you to see me like erm, erm, like that, and I did NOT intentionally kiss you when you fainted, that was just something which happened once and I don't have any explanations for the same!.. But get that Straight k I never,ever, wanted to take advantage of you.. Plz Sir, I - -

The light came and Khushi was stunned to know what she just spoke out!

She looked away and Arnav was just more than shocked! He always went speechless when Khushi was around, but at present he went dumb with a valid reason..

He knew Khushi was a girl with something in her, that made her unique from others.. But she kissed him that night, that was something he thought to be experiencing in a dream! He did fantasize that..

Like an unconscious Princess opens her eyes when kissed by her true Prince, Arnav too had experienced a kiss from his girl who had been falling on him in a towel, in his Flat.. He did gain a bit of consciousness feeling something soft, yet not so dry on his lips, but he was too lazy to open his eyes thinking his dream will break up.. But it was not a dream, nor was he hallucinating.. She did kiss him that night and confessed the same right now.. Woah!!

He was smiling and his teeth sparkled dropping the helmet from his hands and he leaned on lift wall at his back.. The lights came to get them out from the dark and his body was feeling so much energetic..

But, nothing was same for her.. She was so many times warned by her parents to shut up at regular intervals but she never could follow their advice, which led her to such situations which would embarrass her and entertain others.. She closed her eyes repeating her Devi Mayya's name and continuously played with the ends of her dupatta not giving a glance at him who was staring on her as if she told something that was making him aware of how much NEEDED he was.. Khushi was more than embarrassed to reveal that she took advantage of him in his unconscious state, and this made her continuously think on what to do next.. She failed to hear the sound of helmet which fell down from his hands, but she knew the same,when his helmet touched her near her orange nail polished feet and she jumped thinking of cockroach.. She gasped and bent down to pick it up when suddenly she realised.. She knows this helmet.. She looked at Arnav..

OMG! She knows Arnav.. He was the same man she twice had a random encounter with..

He was the one whom she saw when she had just came to Delhi and was with Payal in the rickshaw, drying her hair and a man with a wild bike was staring at her.. He was there at that chaat corner too! That was his bike! Now she could understand why all were saying ASR has a great bike!

The lift stopped and the door opened to the parking ground and Khushi's eyes fell out to see his bike standing there and she was confirmed..

Aman's Cabin..

As per Arnav's instructions, Aman had asked some employees to volunteer in assisting ASR for the new project.. As expected, Peppy was the first followed by many other girls who finally saw an opportunity coming for them to work with The ASR!

The list of the volunteers extended too much, so Aman thought of something, and asked the volunteering girls to prepare an article on Bridal Project in brief, and the one with the best piece in writing will be able to assist ASR in this new project..

Girls were already dreaming to grab this Golden Opportunity and were running here and there to discuss and steal the best ideas for themselves.. Peppy asked her butterflies to make The Best presentation for her piece of article, and her girls assured her that they will handle it all..

In the Lift..

Khushi's mouth hung in air and she pointing at His bike standing out from the open lift.. She looked at Arnav and took three steps ahead to corner him and burst out on him by poking on his chest continuously..

Khushi-Mr. ASR, so you are that brat who was staring at me! You knew me before I joined here na? You were staring on me from your chamber above, and you made me think till today that I am cheap to take advantage of you when you and me, we both very well knew that it was always you who kept calling me..

Arnav was just cornered by her and her fingers were taking out her frustration of something which was making her mad these days..

Arnav-excuse me when did I - - -

Khushi-Don't u interrupt Arnavji.. You know the staff thinks am mad and actually it is you who is making me mad.. You have to tell all that you did let me have a night over at your place and you did give me lift..

Arnav- Khushi I - -

Khushi-na na na, I won't listen to anything.. You have to do what I say and - -

Not understanding a thing from where this all came, and not getting a single hint when, why and what was happening, he just could not help it and ended up holding her wrists tight and pushing her form back against the lift wall and crushing her below his hard form.. He just slammed his lips making her pop her eyes out and fist her palms more tight feeling something 'hitting' on her and kissing her in the open without any shame.. He sucked her lips pushing his tongue inside her virgin lips, just to feel her not reacting and left her to move apart and smirked breathing hard..

Arnav-I know I am a brat, but has anyone told you that you speak too much!

She was still numb feeling his saliva on her lips making them vet and realising what he said, she came back to earth and started wiping her lips and her tongue with her dupatta making yukky faces and was about to scream again when she heard..

Arnav-You do speak too much I know, but don't repeat that to gain yourself another kiss from me just to make me feel used on the later half of my life..

The lift was still open and she fainted to be dawned in his arms who was just happy to carry his possession in his arms again.. What a victory!
