It was still the same night with a light out.. ASR rubbed her back and calmed Khushi assuring her he was just around..

ASR-Khushi! Stop it.. Am here..

She shivered shutting her eyes and unintentionally kept poking her nails in his back pushing herself near him only.. He parted but, to cup her face..

ASR-Khushi.. Ssh.. Just sit.. Come..

ASR remembered HP telling him about the generator issue.. But that was solved, right??

ASR made Khushi sit on the Bed behind and held her shoulders standing ahead of her..

ASR-I’ll just come.. Okay?

But Khushi immediately held his hands and nodded in denial..

Khushi-NO.. I told you not to go, right? Plz, stay na.. Stay..

She was about to cry and he felt a pinch on his heart.. He sat next to her and Khushi held his hands looking at his face how-much-ever it was visible from the moonlight coming in the room from the French Windows..

Khushi-Will u agree to me if I ask u for something? PAUSE.. Don’t go na..

Khushi felt so desperate while speaking that and ASR was numb for a moment or two after which he thinned his lips and looked down.. He turned to see her and nodded in agreement..

ASR-Okay..

He replied after taking a sigh.. Khushi repeated..

Khushi-Not now, not tomorrow, and not the day after either..

ASR nodded silently and Khushi kept her head on his shoulder moving closer, and shut her eyes to fall asleep forgetting it all having Him besides.. He was wide awake but, and moved after a while when she was fully drowned in sleep.. He then helped his Wife to sleep properly on the bed.. Once he was done, he went out to check the problem and was back having inquired about it..

ASR saw Khushi and let his breathe out in relief.. She was still asleep.. The French Windows were open but, and the room was going cool.. He went to close the same, and then to Khushi to cover her with a quilt to keep her warm, and in that process, ended up laying besides her as Khushi had held onto his hands..

And so, they slept together on the same bed, that night..

But, neither did she kick him today, nor did she come all over him unlike before.. His sleep was too not a complete one and the sun rose soon..

Next day

Khushi woke up to find her Husband besides and stared him for long.. She was glad he dint sleep on the recliner but here, and was more glad for he did share this Bed with Her.. She stayed on the Bed to admire him sleeping with his mouth a bit open, and smiled a bit and pushed his chin up to close his mouth and bent forward to kiss him on his cheek but got up not doing so..

She stood up covering ASR alone with the quilt they shared last night, and turned.. Just then her eyes fell on some corner of this room, and she saw His Suitcase.. She remembered the arguments they had last night for he said he had to travel on some Official Work, and she denied Him not to go anywhere anytime, leaving her behind.. Though he had cancelled this tour, the mere thought of him having left to travel leaving her behind, made her sad.. Was it so easy for Him? Did she mean nothing for him to plan that tour so easily?

Afternoon..

Hospital..

It was noon and Khushi was with ASR entering the Hospital.. He excused himself to meet the doctor and Khushi confirmed she can reach Anjali’s Room on herself.. ASR nodded and Khushi turned.. The last time she had come here, she remembered to have met Anjali and leave seeing Anjali’s Baby boy in that Incubator Room..

Anjali’s Room..

Khushi went in and saw Mami and Anjali there.. Anjali was eating her Lunch and Mami was sitting besides with the Baby boy.. Anjali looked up to see Khushi knocking, and welcomed her..

Anjali-Khushi Bhabhi.. U came!

Khushi felt happy as Anjali smiled wide seeing her.. She went towards Anjali and sat opposite to her on a Chair.. Anjali eat and asked about Khushi’s health and all.. Khushi again smiled nodding her head and looked behind once to see if Arnav came..

Khushi helped Anjali finish her meal and Anjali carefully took her son in her lap then.. Mami went to put the empty plate away leaving these two alone.. Anjali called Khushi besides her and Khushi came.. Passing her boy in Khushi’s lap, Anjali asked..

Anjali-Will u help me once to select a name for him? I have two in mind..

Khushi’s head snapped up and she looked at Anjali with uncertain eyes..

Khushi-Me?

Anjali nodded and Khushi looked down at the small form in her hands.. She smiled and kissed the boy’s forehead which was so soft, so fragile..

Anjali saw Khushi and smiled..

Anjali-Aasthik or Ansh.. I like both.. PAUSE.. Help me, will u??

Anjali, she whispered two names and waited.. Khushi liked both, and ASR standing near the Door came in calling out..

ASR-Ansh! That suites him more, haina Khushi? (Right Khushi?)

He said putting a Carry Bag of apples on the side table and stood besides the bed.. Khushi looked up at Anjali agreeing with ASR.. Anjali nodded finalizing a name for her boy, Ansh..

ASR looked at Khushi as she breathed heavy and kept admiring the baby boy who was asleep and silent since when.. Khushi couldn’t stop smiling and kept staring the baby only.. Anjali saw ASR staring Khushi, and looked at Khushi’s lost form then.. Staring Khushi now, Anjali asked with a smile..

Anjali-Cant wait for ur own now, can u?

Khushi’s trance was broke and her smile lessened.. Anjali was right, to which Khushi nodded.. Khushi looked down at Ansh and ASR then.. She offered ASR if he wanted to carry Ansh to which ASR denied, and Anjali chuckled.. Khushi looked away not insisting ASR more, but Anjali tried to push Arnav to hold the baby to make him know how it feels..

But ASR was adamant..

ASR-Let Khushi only hold him Di.. I’ll learn to handle a baby when my Khushi gives birth to one..

Khushi looked up at ASR as he said that.. A small tickle her heart felt, and a young smile adorned her face.. Khushi looked at Anjali and Anjali noted the change in Khushi’s face.. Khushi was suddenly blushing behind her smile, which Anjali made out..

Khushi-Um.. Di.. U take him now, before he wakes up and cries..

Khushi carried the baby, Ansh, from her lap and thinned her lips thinking how to hold him and pass to Anjali.. ASR forwarded his hands not thinking twice and put his palms under Khushi’s to hold the Baby and helped Khushi to place Ansh in Anjali’s lap.. Mami just returned then and told Arnav that Mamaji was looking for him, and ASR left..

Khushi-You’ll make a perfect mother, Di..

Anjali looked up smiling wide..

Anjali-Oh ya? Well.. *sigh* U too.. *looks ahead* I’m waiting to see Chote’s baby as much as u.. *looks down* I guess it will be totally like u..

Khushi smiled feeling nice as Anjali looked at her, and slowly hugged her little baby bump..

Khushi-U think??

Anjali smiled and looked down at her son..

Anjali-I wish.. Am done with one Chote..

Night.. Raizada Mansion..

ASR and Khushi were back Home just now, they saw Nani who was pacing the Hall while waiting for them..

Nani-So, they went??

Khushi sat on the Couch and ASR settled next to her.. Nani sat opposite to them in the Drawing Room and ASR informed that Anjali (and Ansh) and Mami & Mama left for Hyderabad with supporting Doctors and Nurses..

Nani-Fine.. And all the Hospital Formalities and Bills have been cleared??

ASR nodded and Khushi added..

Khushi-And Di finally decided a name for her Son.. Ansh..

Khushi smiled wide seeing ASR..

Khushi-Arnavji helped her out..

ASR looked at Khushi and then ahead at Nani.. Nani was happy to know that Anjali named her Son as Ansh..

Nani-It is a good name.. Hope they come back soon.. How long will they stay there Chote??

ASR told it depended.. As of now they would be staying for a month or two in The Bungalow ASR had purchased specially for this purpose.. Nani retired not before asking if they both eat anything, and ordering ASR to eat and make Khushi eat too..

ASR-So, hungry again??

Khushi looked at ASR with wide eyes.. She gritted her teeth and got up from the Sofa and narrowed her eyes..

Khushi-What do u mean by ‘again’?? I hardly ate anything..

ASR too got up..

ASR-Yeah..? Oh! Um.. Am sorry.. I meant.. I, am hungry again.. Shall we??

Khushi let ASR follow her to the Dinner Table and served herself and Him.. They started..

After a while,  HP came with a glass of Hot Milk once their dinner was almost done and Khushi got up for ASR to stop her..

ASR-Khushi wait..

Khushi turned..

Khushi-I want to sleep.. U plz finish ur dinner and come.. I cant wait now.. I am going..

She seemed to be avoiding him, he thought.. He got up pushing his empty plate away and eyeing HP to take the remaining food away.. HP nodded and ASR walked a step towards Khushi with the glass of milk in his hands..

ASR-Go to bed but drink this first..

Khushi’s eyes popped out and she looked at ASR..

ASR-What?? Come on.. Take it..

Khushi-Now?? But I just had my Dinner.. My stomach is full.. I cant drink that.. U drink it on my behalf..

Khushi started to walk to their room leaving ASR there..

ASR-What the- ..

ASR followed Khushi to their room and saw her moving to the Bed not before putting her Dupatta away on the coffee table..

ASR-Khushi?? Are u serious?

Khushi looked at him with question mark and saw the milk glass in his hands and repeated his question for him..

Khushi-Are u serious?? Seriously?? I just ate too much Arnavji.. I like ur concern but..

ASR walked to stand next to her and put the glass besides and..

ASR (angry)-Concern?? Its my Job to look after u, specially now.. And not just concern or Job, I want to look after u two.. And plz.. Don’t argue with me, ever.. Get up and drink this.. NOW..

Khushi-But..

ASR-Its not just for u..

Khushi laid down and pouted frowning her eye-brows..

Khushi-I am pregnant does not mean u keep feeding me day and night.. *looks away* I know I may not have eaten much today during the day but that does not mean *looks at him* u compensate for that all together now at once.. I’ll drink the milk later.. Plz stop forcing me..

ASR-U think I am forcing u?

Khushi-Yes!

ASR sighed seeing her getting all frustrated and let go of forcing her for now.. He understood that she might really be full and he dint want her to vomit after all, so he let her do it her way and went towards the Door to close it, when Khushi called him out..

Khushi-Hey! Now where are u going??

ASR turned to reply..

ASR-Am just closing the door.. Where else could I go??

ASR turned to lock the Door and Khushi remembered how yesterday he was packing his stuff to go out somewhere and asked as he turned to come to her..

Khushi-And yesterday, where were u planning to go for tomorrow??

ASR raised his eye brow and got it that she was referring to yesterday.. ASR slide besides her before she would ask him for that, and sighed.. Looking side ways..

ASR-Where so ever.. The important thing now is, that am not going, coz u don’t want me to..

Khushi-Had I not pleaded u, then?? You would have left me alone here.. Right??

ASR saw Khushi making a small face and turning on the Bed to sleep not facing him.. He covered her with the Big Comforter and pulled over the same on him and laid besides her, facing the ceiling..

ASR seriously had forgotten for that moment when he was asking Aman to book his tickets for a tour, that his In-Laws were coming and that he and Khushi will be facing a ‘situation’ soon.. It was just that ASR had too much Business pressure suddenly all over his shoulders alone, and neither of Aakash was or Mamaji would be around from tomorrow.. Aakash was handling their Business overseas while Mamaji were to go with Anjali for her.. And so, ASR was just mentally tired and side tracked from what he was supposed to prioritize..

Though later ASR had asked Aman to arrange something to cover up for the tour he just cancelled, ASR could not forget Khushi’s face when she was asking him not to leave her..

She too dint want to part from him, and he had understood it well now.. She too could not stay separate from him, just like him.. She wished never to be apart, and so did he..

But what would he explain to The Gupta’s now? They were coming back this week and it was high time he cant hide or cover for his mistakes but accept and confess the same to all and make a move to Settle things right and start with a Fresh One towards His Own ‘Happily Ever After’ with Khushi and His Baby, who was to come soon..

Next Day..

ASR informed to His Family that Anjali and Mami & Mama had reached Hyderabad safely, with Ansh being the same.. The Doctors there, had started to study Ansh’s case and were involved already to make him better and normal which shall be soon..

ASR, his Office leaves had increased then ever during the last few weeks, and so it was time for him to buck up.. His work Pressure was much, and so ASR had to compulsorily attend many unavoidable meetings himself, at AR Office..

He was avoiding tours as much as possible, and if urgent, then Aman would be asked to attend the same.. ASR was doing this for obvious reasons which he had never though he would before this Lady came in his life, and it was Khushi!

Family and life, were some of the few things ASR wished to take out time for, now..

He used to hate Calls in between work, but all was not the same now.. He’d obviously keep calling Home to know if his Wife was fine and eating well and resting..

The other day was Khushi’s next routine check up with Dr. Kalpana which went all well, just one thing which was not so normal, that Khushi’s weight was not increasing.. ASR was given the measures to consider so that all would go on properly, and he knew well now to handle His things..

Tomorrow was a Weekend..

ASR and Khushi slept together silently, thinking of what will happen tomorrow when Khushi’s foster parents would know the truth hidden from them about Khushi and ASR’s Contract Marriage.. Would they (Shashi and Garima) judge these two and their Marriage, by the Love they had for their daughter or would they question Khushi if their upbringing lacked by any chance?! Would they be ready to understand ASR’s temper at THAT time OR the situation on how and why ASR-Khushi got married on such terms??

Thought Nani was there with these two and Buaji too, still, they (Shashi and Garima) were Khushi’s parents to think more on this and much of Khushi and ASR’s future depended on Shashi-Garima’s patience to deal with this matter.. They were Khushi’s wise parents, and their verdict was much which Khushi was afraid of, yet awaiting the most..

Next Day.. RM Hall..

Khushi and ASR got down once they got ready, and Nani turned to let the two know about the phone call which came a minute back..

Nani-Madhumatiji called.. *sigh* She said that, ur parents have arrived..

Khushi held on to Arnav’s hand and looked at him scared to show him how she was still not ready to know what the future stored for them..

Nani-We should get moving.. They are eager to see u two..

ASR looked at Khushi once Nani turned to go out towards the Parking..

ASR-Lets go..

Though he was nervous himself, he dint show it off.. Khushi looked away leaving a heavy sigh out and they walked out of RM..

ASR drove himself, Khushi and Nani the very next moment, and kept driving until the Car Brakes were pulled outside Gupta House..
